Although there are no club activities planned in the immediate future, the Board of Directors of the GMR have been slaving away to develop ideas to grow our region.
One brilliant idea - conceived by treasurer Gene - is to host a national tour. After discussion with AACA National, we have decided on sponsoring and organizing a Founder's Tour in the spring of 2007. This is a very exciting and challenging opportunity for our new region.
The Founders Tour is an AACA national event; national in that it generally draws participants from all over the country. It lasts five or more days and can either be based in one location with day trips from there (a hub tour) or be a multi location tour where we stay in a different place each night.
We are planning the latter, although we will start and end in the same place, from the Burlington Sheraton (on Williston Road). Please download a copy of the PDF via the link below for complete details.
